In addition to launching new services, we always strive to improve our existing offerings. One of the most significant upgrades deserves special attention — our "Shared Hosting" service has reached a whole new level, which we decided to call HOSTING 2.0.
Key improvements we have introduced compared to the previous shared hosting:
- Migration from the standard Linux distribution CentOS to CloudLinux — a specialized OS designed specifically for hosting servers. It offers several key advantages, most notably the isolated allocation of server resources at the system level among users, automatically ensuring far greater stability than traditional Linux distributions, along with powerful tools for monitoring and diagnosing server load caused by user accounts.
- Option to choose the PHP version on cPanel-managed servers. You can now select the exact PHP version required for your project in just a few clicks. Available versions are 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4.
- Automatic 7-day trial period for all Standard plans. You can now test HOSTING 2.0 without even having to contact customer support!
- Top-tier server configurations featuring a high-performance storage subsystem based on enterprise-grade SATA drives in a hardware RAID10 array. This configuration provides the optimal balance between I/O performance and data redundancy. The software RAID1 we previously used was one of the major bottlenecks in our shared hosting infrastructure, making this upgrade a milestone in the evolution of this service.
We invite everyone to experience HOSTING 2.0 and, if you wish, share your feedback to help other users choose their hosting.
